“GRATITUDE”
A few days ago, we said goodbye to 2018 and hello to 2019. For Paul and I, 2018 was a great year!! We feel so blessed to be here at FCC Moore serving alongside each of you! Over the past year, I have seen each of you work so hard to minister to people inside and outside this congregation. You are all so passionate about sharing the love of Jesus Christ! I cannot let any more time pass before I say thank you!!
Thank you to our wonderful staff. Without them, I don’t know where we would be. I am so grateful for Kristi, Melissa, Andrea, Lori, and Candice for all they do for each of us. Each one is so gifted for ministry in her own way. Each one has such a heart for God and a desire to serve. We are truly blessed with each one!
Thank you to our leadership…our elders, our deacons, and our deaconesses (in both 2018 and 2019). I have never witnessed a group of elders as dedicated to the spiritual well-being of a congregation as our elders…they are in constant contact with those in seasons of grief and suffering health. They are faithful in lifting each one up in prayer. Our deacons and deaconesses are just as wonderful. They are so faithful to serve and greet and prepare for our weekly services and special services. When one is missing, there is always someone ready to graciously fill-in. Everyone has a smile on his or her face, and the love they have for this church and their opportunity to serve is evident.
Thank you to those who are involved in our Christian education…those who teach Sunday school, lead Bible study, help with LOGOS and VBS, etc. I am so grateful for the countless hours each of you spend in preparation and implementing the programs you offer. God uses each of you in such a special way to help us think and grow in our walk with the Lord. Each one of you are priceless in the life of this congregation.
Thank you to all of you who lead or serve on a ministry team. Each one of you keeps us focused on our mission and vision. You keep us moving in the direction God has called us to move through your prayers, your gifts and talents, and your leadership.
Thank you to those who contribute to our men’s and women’s ministry. You encourage us, teach us, motivate us, and even cook for us. I cannot thank you enough for all you do.
Thank you to each and every one of you…you all make a difference in this congregation. Each of you, regardless of how you contribute, are what makes this church what it is.
